Okay, so didn't turn out well at all. Looks more like a scrambled omelette. A scramlette.
Well, considering it's my first attempt in my life! Turned out tasting, like, something new... Gotta try it again!
Kindda turned out to be in the shape of Singapore, a lil, don't ya think? Ah the subconscious patriotism.
Yee...

Advice: never take it from Milo.
Looks absolutely foul, right? Yeah, that's the Milo Malt I bought. (Why I ever bought Malt, I'll never know.) The instructions said just mix 3 heaped teaspoons with hot or cold milk. I wanted cold milk, so despite my better knowledge of diluting the powder in hot water first, I added the cold milk straight to the powder.
Turned out looking $hite-disgusting. Like $hite even!
I drank it.

Oh gawsh! I just got back from a night out with Kevin and Wei Sung. Been some while since I hung out with WS.
I swear, I put in, like, 700 calories from this night alone, and cost me $20.20. So busted my diet and my budget. But hanging out with good old mates, so worth it la.
Went to Corretto's for dinner. Ordered: 1 four-flav pizza, 1 salmone pasta, 1 steak diane, to share as we always do!
RIGHT after that, went to San Churro for them dark choco-dipped deep fried Spanish churros!

Speaking of San Churro, even though their churros are real good and yummy, I feel discouraged from going back to that Lygon branch again.
The 3 of us were sitting outside under the heaters. There were about 5 other tables there. Then the manager came out and personally, and individually, asked every one whether the temperature was okay and comfortable. Every table but ours.
Don't know if it's cos we're Asian or we just ordered one plate. Well, the guys beside us didn't seem to have ordered much either! Son of a Spanish *beep*, or he could've been Italian...
Wtv, I'd rather go back to the one in QV. The people there are a lot nicer.

Okay now looking back on yesterday.
After meeting my aunt for lunch, I was walking back from the city. Coming towards me on the street was this Pakistani guy. He was tall and a bit on the skinny side, didn't look bad and I must say, was a skinny scruffy, with very nice eyes. They were green-yellow around the pupils which changed into light grey as the colour moved outwards. Very nice. But...
He stopped me, and began telling me he was new to the city and wasn't sure where to go. 'Twas clear he didn't have a good grasp of English, so I wondered why he was being so long-winded and asked if he was lost.
He then said, "No, I'm just new to the city and would like a guide to show me around." Right.
I told him I was going home, but he could take a look down Lonsdale where all the stuff's happening.
He said okay, then I said bye and walked on, and he began following me.. in the opp direction he'd come from.
I was, like, wtf?!
Here's how the following convo went (more or less, and in summary):

Me: Um, so where are you heading to now?
Him: I just want to look around the city, cos I just got here yesterday.
Me: Well... the city's that way *points behind me*
Him: Yeah, well, I don't know my way around and I'm afraid I might lose my way and not know how to go back.
Me: It's Melbourne, it's a nice place. And it's a box and easy to navigate. You won't find it hard.
Him: I'm just a but worried. I've got money in my pocket and I didn't want to leave it in my room cos there are a lot of students around where I'm staying...
Me: Nah, They're okay. I'm a student too. I'm not local here. *trying to tell him I'm not the best guide*
Him: Where are you studying?
Me: Monash. A long way from here, really. *lol*
Him: Well I don't know anybody here so I'm a bit lost in this new place.
Me: Ah.. *nods in acknowledgment*
Him: Would you like to be my friend?
Me: Uahrr.... *laughs, sorta awkwardly* Thaaat'sss aaalriiiiight.......
*after quite a bit more talking (cos it was still some way back to Jae's place, which was fortunately just the next block), we finally stopped at the traffic light*
Him: Would you like to have a cup of coffee?
Me: *sweatdrop* Um, no sorry, I got a shitload of work on me.
Him: Yeah, but it's only a fast one, please?
Me: Nah, I don't think so. I'm just got... *heh* ...a lot of work to do.
Him: It's just 5, 10 mins? I mean, I don't know anybody here and...
Me: Nah sorry, I just gotta get back home and get my work done.
*he looks away with this "damnnit" kind of disappointed look*
Him: So you live around here?
Me: Yeah, just a little around the corner. *at the same time smsing Jae, "Jae, get ready to open the door!"*
*we finally get to the next street corner*
Me: Okay, I'm getting off here. Um, see ya and good luck with it!

He just said bye softly and I walked off, then ran to the door, got into the building, into Jae's place and surveyed the street outside from the window. Jae checked after getting off the phone and that guy wasn't there any more.
CREEPY SHET! I realize that lately I've been attracting some unwanted attention, such as that quiet Indian lad who asked me for a hug...
Well, some stuff to spice up your life a little at least.

Also, omg, I made my baby cry. *no, Jamie, not my pet dog* Won't disclose any info about it. But I feel really quite sad for an innocent discussion to have taken a turn for the worst.
Just wanted to understand his mind more, but I might have pushed it a bit too hard, or he might have taken it a bit too seriously, or both. But he was really hurt and I had to leave to let him have time on his own.
Mmm... Didn't see him all day today. Gonna have lunch with him tomorrow though. Hope he's okay now...

The night out with Kevin and WS did help lift my mood and forget my worries, which have been sorta bugging me today. Kev and WS came over to my place after eating and we hung out and talked and discussed and explored certain stuff on the internet which would not be tolerated by the conservative traditionalists.... if u get my meaning.
They left a while ago, and I think I'd better get to work again. Oh I've been eating and spending so much, gotta curb both diet and budget!
Next step in life, hope that everything goes well between me and Jae, take whatever comes with a strong heart, and actually do something about my uni work...
